OMG...I knew it would happen. Mother keeps bringing up the hidden past which is long buried and we feel disfunctional...talking about things we have done or showing stuff we bought her (????).....

She has showed these steak knives (???) twice now....but I also wonder if she has got the past jumbled up being she’s about 70. I think it’s a combination of both.

I try to not let it bother me regardless....but I feel...out on a limb?

I can tell that it bothers her, but she just shrugs it off after feeling bad for us?

Idk. My memory lane has roadblocks and sink holes crumbling into oblivion.

I do get a snippet or flash of a visual that I’m not sure of it being real, much like looking through a picture catalog...

Anyhow...Feeling uncomfortable is just what we have to endure till the moment passes.
