That type of thing occurs with me frequently. I used to think that people were just thoughtless, forgetful, or that they didn't really care. Now I wonder if people who don't have MI simply don't receive the "imprint" that I, a person with bipolar disorder and PTSD, receive. Perhaps their brains are just not as sensitive to stimuli as mine is, so they forget more quickly.

Same with me. There are also falling asleep & waking up hallucinations. I usually hear bird chirping before sleep. My daughter tells me whether her eyes are open or closed at night, she sees multi-colored flowers floating around and sometimes geometric shapes. I panicked about the not knowing about falling asleep hallucinations, but then I talked to my youngest sister; she sees the flowers too only hers are all one color, like pink.
I hope this is not a sign of bad things to come for my daughter...but my sister has apparently had this since childhood and has no mental health issues. Truly, I hope it does not mean Parkinson's in their future (my paternal grandmother passed away from that). Or mental health iussues in my daughter's case.
