Its hard when you want to go all out for the "happiest day of your life" and cannot, But hey, if you pay for it all yourself just think of how much of an accomplishment it would be to do yourself. My grandma paid for most of our wedding, and of course we had to pick the more affordable photographer and things like that, but it was still a great wedding. We are right now paying my grandma back for everything we borrowed. It feels good to do so, because she was the only one that helped us out in that sticky situation. I dont blame my parents at all because of the financial leiu they are in, and I don't blame hubbies mom because she is widowed and has many health problems. But remember, even if you pick another photographer or business because its cheaper than the one you wanted, dont feel let down; some can produce even better quality than the more expensive one.
