No, at least not now. I do believe when I first started a couple medications that I was so tired that my speech was slurred a little. That passed as I grew used to the medications. Two I recall are Geodon, that later was not sedating enough, and Seroquel. I only take Seroquel XR at night, which does help me sleep. If I take Seroquel XR or iR during the day it would sedate me, unless I was hypomanic or manic. I've accidentally taken Seroquel 50 mg instead of Ativan 1 mg (they looked similar) at about 1 pm in the past. I was pretty spacey for a good 30 mins.

Don't ever get drunk on bipolar medications. That could be a culprit, too.

Once my careless husband accidentally took MY evening medications in the morning instead of his. Wrong pill box. He almost passed out at work. I had to pick him up and bring him home. He then slept for a good 10 hours from about 10 am to 8 pm. His usual morning meds were an antidepressant and stimulant. My evening meds were Lithium, Tegretol XR, Geodon, Seroquel XR, and Klonopin. He was obviously not used to such a mix!
