I only applied to the one place I wanted to work for most, which is an in-home caregiving company. I was referred there three times, two by word of mouth and by a flyer posted at the college campus.

I turned in an application along with a resume, cover letter, letter of recommendation, and six certificates I've earned while working at my last caregiving company. The secretary was blown away.

The next day I received a phone call from the owner who said she heard "glowing" comments from the secretary and the woman who reviewed my application and said I was a perfect match and wanted me to begin training as soon as possible! She also recommended me signing up for the educational classes she puts on for the employees which sounds like is done on a regular basis.

Long story short, I got the job!!!
