Have you thought about exercise? I find when it starts to feel like my nervous system is about to jump out my body that worst thing that I can do is hope that it goes away on it's own. Doesn't matter what kind of physical shape you're in; a 5, 10, 15, 20 minute run (or whatever level you're at physically) can really do wonders. If you can't run, then walk, if you can't walk, then crawl.
