Depending on your income you could qualify for Medicaid the state funded insurance. That is what I am on, my monthly income cannot exceed $1,366 which it doesn't. The plan I have is full coverage 0 copays for doctors or prescriptions. I haven't used my new plan yet; but the one I have is top rated in my state. I also worked a lot with the company at my old job and they are very transparent which I like.

If I wanted to I could get on my work insurance which isn't bad. I would be paying $55 out of my check every month; if I stay within their group I would have a $20 copay, if I continued to see my doctor it would be $40 since he is not affiliated with their group. Specialists are $30 in group, $50 out of group. Mental health services of any kind are $20 across the board.

I don't know what my workplace covers with the pharmacy.

If you think you might qualify for Medicaid here is a good website documenting it by state A state-by-state guide to Medicaid: Do I qualify?
