Almost always when something feels wrong, it is. But even if nothing happened that is objectively wrong, it is enough that you don’t feel right. People socialized as women are often made to feel that whatever is going on has to meet the standard for conviction in a court of law in order to be “allowed” to distance ourselves from someone.
Not so.
You can unilaterally decide that you don’t want to return to a therapist for any reason at all including “welp I really dunno.” Your sense that something isn’t quite right is enough. Don’t overrule it.
