I work in health insurance and the price really depends on the plan you choose and if you qualify for the ACA subsidy. The subsidy is based on your income. PPO plans have a higher deductible which means your pay a lower premium each month but more for services. And with a PPO, your out of pocket is higher. As someone with bipolar, I would recommend an HMO plan in case you are hospitalized.
