Not sure if this is helpful but in my religion class on Tuesday nights, we've been talking a lot about love in action instead of love in words, or compassion in action instead of compassion with words. That words aren't enough but actions show the true character, intent, heart of a person. If a person is hungry and a second person says, "Go with God and be blessed" that first person is still hungry. If the second person gives him food, then that first person is no longer hungry. The action showed the true compassion of the second person.

The old saying, "Actions speak louder than words" apply. I think that it's hard to know that someone cares without hearing it sometimes, but I think that really deep down, I know the people that care about me even when they don't say it. It's hard to hold onto. I think the best of both worlds are both actions and words. Not sure if its helpful, and certainly don't mean to be offensive. Just my two cents. Hope it helps. Kit. ((hugs))
