Nope, you aren't wrong to think about like this. Everyone is entitled to have their own opinion, and who knows what will the future reveal to us.
I believe we, especially teenagers and young adults, have an instinct to kill and have sex. The urge to have sex is universal and in fact unfortunately the only purpose of life is to continue life. While killing, we may kill for many reasons, including to show dominance, to end the feeling of injustice etc. which a psychologist can better explain. Life's rule is, "Do anything it takes to survive and be dominant."
