How much room do you have where you live? Is moving new kitty to a different room an option, or swapping rooms with your sister and moving your other kitty to a different room?
Thanks for the suggestions. Problem is my first kitty is used to sleeping with me so even if I swapped rooms, first kitty would be coming with me and currently I'm keeping first kitty and second kitty apart. I tried introducing them yesterday but it was too soon and so I have to accept that. I don't have a laundry room, or other free room that has a door so the guest room is it. But I'm going to talk to my parents too to see if they can come up with some sleeping arrangements that might work. I don't want my sister to feel unwelcome but it's hard with a new fur baby in the house that is just scared and skittish. I want her to have as much time as possible to feel cared about and welcome. I don't want to rush it. I also have a room that is connected to the garage but is not connected to the house. It's got lots of hiding places and so I am thinking as a last resort I could put new kitty in there, but the door goes outside and I don't want kitty to somehow get outside and get lost, especially as I don't have her micro-chipped yet, so I have to think this through. Kit.
