I know how that feels, I had to rehome my much loved male cat years ago after I had to move house (I did not have a choice, not going publically into reasons, not on this thread)

He was 7 years old when I rehomed him and the very last news I got from his new owners was he'd gone missing, I still wonder to this day whether he died that day or whether he lived long enough to get back home to his new family

So yeah, I understand how that feels, pets are family
