well you believed your friend didnt fit in her clothes you just didnt have any empathy because you dont think thats as big of a deal. Thats a bit mean in my opinion but understandable because sometimes we get so caught up in what we are going through that we forgot that the problems other people have are big to them. Next time you find yourself doing that just remember how it makes you feel when the elder women doesnt believe you. Not good, i suppose? So remember to "do to another as you want done to yourself" and show some empathy.
