If you are worried about your parents bringing up the wedding plans at Thanksgiving dinner, then you should call them and tell them to please not ask about that or bring that topic up. Last I read you mentioned that you were planning a long engagement and you are not going to rush into marriage, a wise choice IMHO.
Has your fiance even met your parents yet golden?
