I'm on it, pdoc says I have ADHD, but I really think it's lack of concentration from bipolar, the meds I'm on, and anxiety. I really don't think I have ADHD, so in my belief, I'm using it off-label. He said, well, at any rate, see if it helps with my energy & concentration. For me, it does. I can finally read a book again. But I don't have those feelings you are describing, especially not with my heart.
True, I have panic disorder & high anxiety and panic attacks, but they are pretty much the same as before the Adderall. I really haven't noticed much difference with my anxiety on Adderall.
You should call your pdoc and see about getting off Adderall or if he wants you on it, taking a lower dose if possible? Has he tried you on Wellbutrin to see if that would help with energy? It's not as fast-acting as the Adderall and can cause similar symptoms, but it seems a lot of BP people tolerate Wellbutrin better than Adderall, and Wellbutrin tends to have few or no withdrawal side effects for most people.
One time, I did double take my morning meds by accident, which included Adderall and Wellbutrin. I was practically bouncing off the walls all day, just over-energetic, talking a lot, lots of projects, manicky type stuff, and still didn't have extra issues with my heart or even panic. But the next day, I was back to normal again.
