zyprexa can cause weight gain and diabetes, plus all the usual stuff with tranquilizers (depression, tardive dyskinesia, twitches, etc.). seroquel has a low rate of akathisia and muscle twitches, but it can still cause tardive dyskinesia.

Atypicals in general are less likely to cause movement disorder-related side effects unlike typicals like Haldol and Thorazine.
But obviously everyone is different. I've seen akathisia in people on Zyprexa at higher (> 20mg), but not TD to the best of my knowledge. And I've seen akathisia and TD people on Risperdal. Which makes sense in a way, as it's been described to me before as (pharmacologically speaking) the "most typical of the atypicals."
