I do it every week
The unfortunate part is, it does take out the emotions for me.
The good thing is, It helps me sort my thoughts, because I usually blank when I'm there, without it, id say nothing really.
There is no rules on it, its up to you. Typically I write a list all week, then the night before, i look over it again, cross off things that seem not important anymore and go with the rest.
