I know someone with whom something completely unexpected happened as a results of TRE session. It's hard to understand what happened and the person was not able to describe it too well because it was confusing for her too.

Anyway, it seems that something got unexpectedly too activated and she ended up in a state where her body sort of did not want to live anymore. She described it as becoming totally fatigued being on the verge of losing her consciousness. The situation lasted for months and she had a very slow recovery over the months.

This was all very unexpected to her and her TRE therapist who had never seen anything like this before. Of course the therapist said that TRE cannot have such an effect but for some reason to her it had.
