I went hypomanic on prednisone once and now it's on my list of 'allergies.' But I don't know if this is typical of BP. Has anyone out there seen an article on it?

I would talk to your doctor about it, and possibly look for alternatives, just in case. Also, maybe talk to your pdoc, specifically, about it. He/she might know about the prevalence of reactions to prednisone in the context of BP.
