The snow turned out much worse than expected. It took my husband 3 hours to get home from a usual 30 mins commute because of accidents, cars/trucks in ditches, detours, and just inching traffic. They let him out at 2 pm and he wasn't home until 5 pm. He said it took 1 hour just from an intersection that could be walked from in 25 mins.

People get too confident driving in snow. Also, the snow crews were nowhere to be found.
