If it's anything remotely connected to politics, seems like that's going to jar feathers. It's perhaps better to state intent of your intended message and block whomever is bothering you. And also, let someone know, whether it be administration, a friend, inner circle and don't suffer in silence.
Edit To add: when I say state intent, if bothered over what you initially wrote, keep it simple. And then, disengage from that individual. Hence, blocking and reporting or just blocking. It's kind of case by case, occurrence by occurrence. It's unsettling no doubt. Hence, all the more reason to not keep what's happening to yourself. It can affect your emotions when bottling it up. It's easy to ask of oneself, why me? What exactly have I done to provoke this person's lashing out. The truth is, probably nothing. And it's, as I've learned, less about you and more about them. Online can have twists and turns that would unlikely happen face to face. Which is why it comes accross so baffling. Baffling enough to begin a thread about, right?
