That is an unsettling experience. I had some bad confusion too (such as not putting on a hand mitt taking a pan out of the hot oven and burning myself), forgetting just everything, once sitting in the car and not remembering how to drive it.

I contacted my pdoc first as PCP was not in. He lowered my Wellbutrin, and that helped it.

But I was scared by the forgetfulness too.

It has also gotten worse for me once I became mixed. Are you mixed? Did any of your meds change recently, even something you may be on for reasons other than psych reasons? Have you started taking any new supplements or vitamins? How long have you been on the combo of meds you are taking right now? If it's not too long, it could be the meds.

And I'd contact your PCP, and if they think it is a concern, follow up with a specialist.

How much Wellbutrin are you taking? I was on 300 mg awhile, and that's when I got super forgetful. On 150 mg, I still forget words, spellings, phrases, and I am pretty sure it's the Wellbutrin too because Wellbutrin did the same thing to me in grad school. Well, I took Wellbutrin & Effexor together then and blamed the Effexor but now I am pretty sure it was the Wellbutrin.
