"My Pdoc doesn't seem to care."

With my own experience and knowledge of scientific methodology, I can tell you psychiatrists are supposed to be like Sherlock Holmes. They help us, but don't attach emotions to us, as to prevent judgement "clouding." My psychiatrist too, only analyzes me and calculates the doses of meds, going not too far from the traditional doctor's method of prescribing meds and telling lifestyle changes, he doesn't care what I am going through, through my own perspective. Just like House. It's the same everywhere.


It's convienent to say those who make a career in science, might want to be helpful and be caring and compassionate and all, but they at least don't want their emotions to be apparent.
