There is a fast and easy way to get a self-help book by going to mentalhealth.org and downloading Psychological Self-Help.

Even when I was so down that I wasn't able to follow through on any onej CBT technique for long, each time that I started a new one, it gave me a little spurt of hope and feelings of efficacy. That eventually I would get better. Before sliding down into the pit again.
