@Tucson - I use a similar marinade/glaze a lot for chicken and shrimp (I haven't eaten mammal meat in over 2 years). My .02 - use store brand clover honey. So much is wasted and with it being a non penetrating glaze mixed with spices that overpower everything but the sweetness, there really isn't much point spending extra. If you used corn syrup I doubt the honey mix would do any better in a blind taste test.
Once again, I went a little nuts late. I was 157 yesterday morning after a gym trip the night before, so I figured it was a low spike but I decided to quit rolling forward and allow myself a last splurging day. I didn't log the late stuff.
Starting at zero today with a low goal - 1500. I am thinking about not weighing for several days if and only if I stay under goal every day. I will log my gym sessions, but only the cardio at a rate of ~400 calories per hour. I am trying to mix up the rules to see if I stick to it better. I still have not gone over 160 (or at least not that I have allowed myself to see; I suspect I have spiked over a couple of times), but it is really getting to me that I have been stuck near the top of the range for so long. This is especially dangerous going in to the holiday season.
