Hi and welcome. We don't use the word host at all, but we do have several ones who take care of the daily life activities. Our T applies the theory of structural dissociation to help us both understand our system structure and dissociative conflicts. As we work together we are also finding we have a lot of fragment parts that deal with various limited aspects of experience, but not enough that we refer to ourselves as "polyfragmented".
Not everyone on this forum agrees with polyfragmented DID or the theory of structural dissociation, but it can work if you take what works for you. Welcome!
