Anniversaries are such a mixed blessing sometimes. They mark important milestones in our lives and the passing of time from then to this moment.

But I know he would want you to live this moment with all you are while fondly remembering those moments with you.

I, like all of us who live and experience loss, mark the passing of souls with the birth of new. On anniversiers of the passing of loving souls in my life I plant a tree, bush or flower in the Earth so as to carry forward in life the loving energy I so enjoyed. It is wonderfull watching those memories grow as the moments pass...
