I could be wrong, however, I think life has a pecking order.
Whereas the children are the priority.
The spouse is never family. Here today, gone tomorrow.
I was the priority of my Mother by the simple fact that I was her only child.
I don't want to be nobody's priority. And my only priority is myself.
That makes all of us even.
