I would say it depends on how a social a person you consider yourself.
When i am feeling good i don't generally need to be around anyone( not that i don't like to, i just don't need to).
But when i'm in the dark hole i really need to be around others, some for distraction and some for support.
Regardless, its not healthy, mentally or psychically, to isolate ourselves, even if we want to.
And its bad for vitamin D levels, which is known to worsen depression( no sunlight, no D). You can technically supplement for that but its a very slow process with D.
I was at 31ng was supposed to be at 100. I supplement for three months with very high doses and after three months only hit 46!
