I worked in psychiatric hospitals as a tech, associate phych worker until I got my degree in psychology. Then I worked as a case manager, behavior specialist, chemical dependency counselor etc.. there is work in the mental health field but I would get a masters in social work if you are going that route possibly while you get experience in the field
