I will not keep trying to convince you otherwise because how often we weigh is a personal decision, but I will try to explain my thinking one last time before I drop it. Trying to get an accurate picture despite day to day weight fluctuations is exactly the reason I weigh often. Lets say I weigh every 2 days and my weights are 159, 156, 158, 155, 157, 159. That means I weigh around 157, even though the scale only said that once. What if I do every 8 days instead of 2? Day 1 (159) to day 9 (157) is a 2 pound loss - awesome! But day 3 (156) to day 11 (159) is a gain of 3 pounds - not awesome at all. If I am tracking them often I know I am around 157 this week and maybe next week they will be bouncing around 156 instead.
If it bothers you to see your weight often, don't weigh often. But if you want to cancel out the effects of fluctuations, you can't do the math without enough data.
