I've been journaling for years. Its interesting to look back on. I feel it helps me, I don't use it enough though. I need to start really expressing myself in it. I tend to just write about what happened during the day, what's been going on etc. I also have a weird habit of filtering myself because I don't want to be "negative" in it , which kind of defeats the purpose of venting , lol so thanks for this post. Maybe I'll start writing more in depth about my feelings, experiences.
