Which, I realized partway through the process, is WHY it's still in the closet. The manual is missing and the one I could find online is for a slightly newer model. It's just such a pain in the neck (literally, as I am craning and squinting at the teeny-tiny holes and guides) that I usually just pull out my regular sewing machine.
After lots of @#$%, the serger is threaded, and (oddly) I feel like I've regained some of my good humor. Go figure. I'm taking a short snack break, pumpkin buttermilk bread, which came out SO delicious!, then I will start sewing.
