My grandma taught me many many years ago how to crochet, every time i make something like this i feel like she's with me again. It's all double crochet and one of those patterns that looks a lot harder than it actually is.


However saying that, while I can crochet circles around anybody, I cannot knit to save my life!! I've tried to learn, several times, from you tube videos and books, but I just end up with a mess. I can't seem to control the yarn with just pointy sticks - and drop stitches all over the place - my shoulders get all tensed up and knotted and I get a headache - crocheting with a hook is my thing!! it relaxes me.
