I think their's been some miss understanding somewhere

when I wrote about socks for christmas, I've never got socks for christmas- meaning, I've never got them for others

what I was saying is this

if I got socks, it would be okay (meaning if someone got me them), not if I got them for someone else.

I'm far from a grinch, I love christmas
