lexi,
i'm sorry you've been so triggered. that's one thing about PTSD. a person gets extremely upset when triggered by a person or thing. however, at the same time they NEED to know of a person's where about's, if he's been caught, etc. it's a deep need to know that the person is no where near or close and/or is being watched by police, etc.
i can understand. my brother (the main abuser) lives just 15 mins away from me. and even though it's very triggering to hear of him, there's a need to know what he's doing so i can try to predict his frame of mind, etc.
it's a very difficult position to be in...can't win for losing sorta thing. ((((((((( lexi ))))))))) i hope you're able to get that picture out of your mind soon, and find solace in knowing that ppls what what he is...
be safe, dear. sending peaceful wishes your way,
kd
