I find it frustrating and angry when my husband or father have made a joke of or used my diagnosis to insult me.
They will never understand or be able to put themselves in my shoes but similarly They too have their struggles which I will never understand.
But they are usually kind and supportive. The behaviour needs to be called out.
I have had many ECT’s and know that is no walk in the park!!!
