krazibean, unfortunately I have not found a solution to making my scars less obvious. I tend to wear long sleeved tops (as light as possible). We are just coming out of summer now, and it has been so hot that I ended up having to wear shorter sleeved tops. What surprised me is that no-one at all asked about the scars, and there are plenty of them. When I went swimming in the ocean I wore a long-sleeved 'gauzy' top, and in the local pool I wore a top that hid the worst scars. Only when I have been on my own have I rolled up my sleeves all the way and gotten some sun! In the odd instance when someone has asked me what happened, I have shrugged it off and said 'just an accident' or similar. I hope that you can find a solution that works for you this summer. (Oh, and as I had to have a mole removed a month before summer I also used that as an excuse to cover up...the risk of skin cancer...)
