Thank you so SO much to 'ya all, for your congrats and good wishes.

The party went well. It lasted two and some more days for some.
Couples friends came from Miami and stayed the night or nights.
Neighboors and strangers showed up unexpected, but welcomed.
A good friend posted PARTY signs in the main road, and some more leading to the house.

We only have two guest bedrooms, and 11 couples stayed the first night.
There were people sleeping even at the dock. In whatever the could accomodate their assets.
By Sunday night, there were people still sleeping in the couches inside the house.

I designed my own cake, with very little imagination. "Have many more 69s" it read.
Food was mainly Cuban. So was the music. And some Rock too.
For the benefit of those who spoke English only.
Everybody was dancing at whatever music. Specially after the 2nd or 3rd drink.

The roasted (60 lbs) pork lasted little. So other friends dragged the BBQ to the front yard, and cooked whatever meat was in the freezer.

Some neighboors brought food from their respective countries.
We have a Colombian and two Puertoricans neighboors in the same block.
The Italians next door, brought a huge eggplant lasagna.
The American on the other side, brought several great salads.

I had cases of vodka, rum and whiskey. Also six cases of beer.
La Bruja bought cases of wine.
Many friends and neighboors also brought beverages.
So alcohol was abundant. And drank.
Very few people got drunk. These people can drink, hard, and tolerate well.

We all ate, drank, danced and had a good time.
The strangers marked the date for when I'm 70. Hahaha. Optimistics.

It has taken a while for me to recuperate, however, I'm at full power now.
