I would argue that Robin Hood is a hero but that's just me. Same with Al Capone. Both people screwed over the rich to help those in need. Granted the latter was probably a little too ruthless on his dealings of those who ****ed him over; at least he helped the poor and didn't overcharge on loans, unlike big banks today.
