I’m not even sure why there needs to be correcting. I guess we all grow up different, but there was no way in hell at that age -even if I did live at home at that age would my parents have any type
Of control or say over what I choose to put into my body, but maybe that’s a different thread for a different time or just my issue. You are an adult, you can grocery shop and make your own meals. Your parents will be mad (which they shouldn’t really care at all if you don’t want to eat meat) and then they will get glad again.
Although maybe it’s also just par for the course if you live with your parents into your adult hood? (I wouldn’t know. I was long gone by your age.) You leave yourself subject to criticism and their values instead of being able to live your life the way you want? I’m not judging. I’m genuinely curious how this dynamic actually works that parents get upset if their ADULT children want to change something as simple as a diet. Is it part about the money and time she spends to cook? Because then she could just make smaller amounts-just enough for her and your dad and you can do your own thing at meal
Time. Your body might also be overloaded with iron and that might be its way of telling you-hey..stop. I need a break from this heavy food.
Thanks for this!
