Dude...that's a really good question. Putting the alarm across the room etc etc, those techniques usually don't work. I did find this website though: When Depression Won't Let Us Get Out of Bed - The Blurt Foundation Instead of making you feel horrible for not leaving your bed, they give you tips to stay healthy to the best of your abilities when you just can't deal with life.

Here's a thing: I always force myself to shower, brush my teeth and go through a skincare routine. It makes all the difference. Even if you go back to bed, at least you'll feel clean. But, being awake and still tired is tough. Not sure how well caffeine would help...you usually crash at some point if you drink too much of it (like sugar). Still, it sounds like your fatigue is normal. At some point your brain just gets tired of itself and your body responds...especially if you're depressed. I self-injure and am absolutely exhausted afterwards. Sometimes I sleep for over 12 hours (well, most days now). I had a 24h psychotic anxiety episode once where I couldn't find the floor (or our dimension, for that matter) and was hearing + feeling all sorts of strange things...paranoia, thinking I was a doctor, not knowing how to walk....what made it horrible was the feeling that I was dying all throughout. Has this happened to you? Anything similar?

Another thing to get you out of bed could be a simple breakfast, like cereal, or a piece of toast. This makes things way easier for you.

About medication, not sure exactly. Does anyone know if vitamin C powder helps at all? Maybe you could try making juices?
Thanks for this!
