Please got get a physical; my doctor tested me for pretty much everything before he accepted the depression. Since so many things can cause fatigue as a symptom and if it isn't anything physical set a routine like others have mentioned routines are important.

When I went through my depressive phase from hell I at least bothered to take a shower every other day; and when I didn't wash my hair dry shampooed it. Brush my teeth twice a day; floss; wash and use products on my face and washed those sheets twice a week. Even if you felt like crap you were at least clean and in a mostly clean bed.

Zyprexa was always very sedating to me too; so it could be the meds and your pdoc is wrong that a job would fix the problem; sounds like your pdoc is massively judgmental if he thinks a job is the answer; obviously your medications are causing some of the exhaustion.

Seroquel even though it's massively sedating at night it does wonders for my energy in the mornings and through work. Granted some days I do get to deal with a Seroquel hangover but for the most part I can tell a difference in my energy level.
