We have been having crazy weather around the country lately....I understand a bit about the winds you were having.....it didn't seem much windy around where I live here in Kentucky....but the other night when I was driving to the bible study in the neighboring town.....I looked at one of the houses on the way, & the tree had been blown through the top story of the house.......what wind? One of the lady's said that she had gone out to take a walk & while she was out, the wind came up & like you said....straight lined.....with such a force. How scarry.

I was in the basement the beginning of Feb with a tornado warning.....they said we had 15 tornadoes show up in the area....don't know how many actually touched down....but there is a lot of roof damage around the area after that storm.

I am glad you are safe.....after going through Katrina....you don't need any more winds.....I'm sure it's even more scarry to deal with after all you have gone through.
