I picked up all the meds me and my son could need for awhile except I forgot the prescription for Synthroid. It was a zoo yesterday in the area I go for shopping.

"I'm just so, so grateful my ankle is ok. The surgery I had required 6 weeks on bedrest with my leg elevated, 10 weeks in a cast, 6 weeks in a boot, 3 months in a hefty brace and almost 5 months of PT. So I try very hard to not damage the repairs."

That's the reason I didn't go for ankle surgery after I knocked out a ligament and tore another in one in my right ankle. I can walk on it, but not run. It is definitely wobbly. The biggest risk is to reinjure it again because it is unstable to begin with. I get a dull achy pain at the end of each day.

Congratulations on getting through all that, BeyondtheRainbow. Most people don't realize how taxing ankle surgery recovery is.
