Im wondering why men are sooooo adamant about this. i know guys read this so if there is a reason, please tell me!

my boyfriend will get a sinus infection or something and instead of just going to the doctor, he will wait the month and a half it takes to go away on its own. well now he has some rash on his face. we have changed his razor, cleaned the sheets and pillowcases and he has used a 2.5% concentration of hydrocortizone. But it just wont go away! Sometimes it is hardly there and sometimes it's rampant. But he refuses to go to a dermatologist.

and here is the kicker. in january i got an extra $4000 for a federal grant for making the dean's list in the college of science. we paid off some credit cards and have left over half of it in the checking account just in case. so we have the money for him to go. and he keeps saying "well, once we get money..." about everything. and i showed him the checkbook last night and said 'then what the hell do you call all this stuff?!' and he still wont go to a doctor! what is it with guys and having to always act macho? is it a sign of weakness to go to the doctor or something? does it make you less of a man? im seriously curious.
