Any parent would be proud at the way you picked a career direction and are pursuing it. It’s not a flaky choice,like yr going to be in a band but a field with high demand that will help many people. I have a grown son I am very proud of and he has very strong opinions. It is just biology for u to start making yr own decisions. You said they don’t mind if you cook some things for yrself. Eat some of theirs, some of yours to be inclusive. If holiday bustle makes you stress, go out or a walk and a chat w a friend.
