I can relate and not. I have to go to my sister's house tomorrow to be pitied because I am all alone. I would prefer to be home doing what I want to do but I have to get the presents ready and go.. I do it because I do need help at other times of the year and I do know that I have to put up with the one day pity just to maintain relationships.

So maybe you should just look at it as something you have to do. It is only one day out of a week right and also, maybe they just want to see you.. cut them a break!!

But boy I can't relate to the uber religious family. I just hate that. Glad I live in an area where that would be the weird stuff.
