I thought it would be therapeutic, after reading the post about whether or not I'd want to marry myself (HECK no!), to list off some of the things I do like about me. Sometimes I get so stuck on the bad things, and most of them are things I can't change.
My organizing skills
My people skills
I like my body
My stubbornness
My decisiveness
My ability to get things done
My people skills
It took me a while to come up with this list, and I still think it's a weak attempt. I couldn't get to the good stuff without going over the bad, so here's a good start at a list of things I would like to change about myself:
My absolute RAGE at my H.
My ANGER (there's no word for it) at God for my deafness and health issues, feeling like a pawn (see the Book of Job), and a complete lack of relationship. I used to have a full, satisfying relationship with Him.
My inability to socialize (both my deafness and my H are to fault for this)
My inability to exercise my leadership skills (I blame H for this, and it's not entirely his fault)
Exhaustion (this is an old issue, but it threatens me. I'm afraid it'll come back)
This is what I'd like to work on here at PC. How does one go about doing this?
